This project was driven by the will of creating with a narrative voice. Wanting to work with images made me stick to the smiling woman on the front page of countless magazines. Is she real, that smiling, seemingly happy woman? What is concealed on the inside? But more important, does the inside even matter when the outside seems to be the only thing counted on? The intention is to make a point, with humour as the primary tool.
